Halloween 2011

So... a quick post about Halloween.  Claire was a Fairy Princess.  It took her a while to realize that, sometimes saying she was Tinkerbell, sometimes, a ballerina.  At any rate, she had a tutu and wings already, so that's what happened :)

We went to the ward party.  Claire walked in the little parade.  I had her hold hands with Marshall...her super cute friend.  It was so cute :)

Katie and Lenore

Me and the Kiddos.  Jordan was working, so....  Cute little kitty cat, Anya :)

And now for Trick-or-Treating.

And the worst-taken pictures known to man. They of course wouldn't hold still, and I wasn't very into taking pictures, so this is all we got...

My sister, Heather, and her husband Jay, kids, Lauren and Quinn came down to Trick or Treat. It was so fun!!  Lolo was the CUTEST Minnie Mouse ever!!!  And Quinn was a cow--recognize the costume from last year...when Claire was a cow?? Thing I realized later was the fact that Quinn is a boy, and cows are...well, female...so it's a little weird, right?  Bull next time, Heathe!

Afterward, we went to Grandma and Grandpa Taylor's for dinner.  Lenore made "Dinner in the Pumpkin." It was SO GOOD!!
And she made brownies with chocolate skeletons on them.  It was really cool, especially since no one in their house even likes brownies :)  Haha

Claire definitely enjoyed her Halloween candy, and also all of the fun toys.  She was wearing vampire teeth all night!!

Anya is walking like crazy!!  Yep I suck at trying to take pictures of the kids haha

Happy Halloweeeeeen!!!

This Halloween was pretty fun, because now, Claire knows the meaning of C-A-N-D-Y. And she dressed up like a COW, and definitely knows the meaning of that!

But first, I must showcase Jordan's exceptional pumpkin-carving skills :)

And, as I said, Claire was a cow. Her cousin, Lauren was a cow last year, so we just carried on the tradition (well, tradition of FREE costume too!). I also figured it would be maybe the only year that my daughter would be excited about dressing as a cow. Next year I bet it will be a fairy or a princess or something frilly like that.
Here she is getting her "makeup" on! Auntie Katie (aka, "Sexy Vampire") was the artist :)

And here she is, all ready to go!!

And here we are trick or treating together! (Let's be honest, it was cold and rainy. We went to a handful of houses...)

Then, we went back to Grandma and Grandpa Taylor's house and Claire did what she does best: maul "baby sister."

Photobucket

By the way, isn't she cute? (yeah, she survived the mauling)

Poor Anya... she was really gassy that night...so Grandma Taylor had me make a pact with her to cut out soda and chocolate (my pediatrician said chocolate is a culprit? Who knows...) out of my diet, and she would do the same. The soda is really hard for her and the chocolate (surprise surprise) is really hard for ME!! Since that day, 3 days ago, I have lost 2 more pounds. LOL.

Started my diet again (took a short hiatis for Halloween)...need to fit back into my wardrobe or I'll be in PJ's all winter long! AH!

Anyway, was a fun Halloween!!

Pumpkin Pickin' Time

A week ago (or so) we went to the pumpkin patch with Jordan's family. It was so fun! My first time! There were a lot more people there than in these pictures, but what can I say? We are obsessed parents that only take pictures of Claire (and Anya will be getting more pictures soon).

Halloween de Nuevo!

Since Claire's Halloween costume was pink scrubs, that weren't that warm per say...I decided that for Halloween night she'd be a cat. I already had the makeshift costume. We weren't even planning on trick-or-treating, but my sister, Heather, invited us up to Farmington where she lives, to go trick-or-treating with her little girl, Lauren.

First, we went to my aunt and uncle, Shaunie and Bart's house. Here are some pictures of the evening...

Pretty much the CUTEST little baby girl in the whole world.

With the CUTEST Daddy in the whole world... :)

And a so-so Mommy :) haha

And here she is with the cow, Lauren :) I told Heather that that costume would NOT be good in her older years. What GIRL wants to be a HEIFER for Halloween, right? :) But I must say she looked pretty darn cute!

Taking pictures with my cousins, Carissa and Trina, and Trina's little boy, Xander. Taking a picture with all children looking...now that's a feat! Carissa's face is PRICELESS here!!

Here we go. This was the best shot..,

What a little cutie!

Taking pictures of Tiara as a geisha with a not-white-enough face, apparently, and Brett as....basically in DRAG... teenage boys seem to LOVE this look, right? Carissa as Cinderella (can you believe she found that dress at DI?? Crazy!!) Me as a deadbeat Mommy...wait, I mean, myself! And Claire. Fun times.

Halloween Fiesta at the Ward

So we went to the Halloween partaaaayyy.... always fun! Claire is a NURSE for Halloween. I found these awesome little pink scrubs for $3.99 at Kid to Kid! I should really do an "Ode to Kid-to-Kid" because seriously that store is the BEST!

This Is Not My Halloween "Do"

BUT, it SHOULD BE!!

In this picture, Natalie had just put a gold filler in my hair before putting a neutral brown in it (so the blonde highlights will darken for the all-over color) and it looks pretty SUH-WEEEET!!

Halloween at Work

Dana Thatcher as a hippie, and me as Angelina Jolie (pregnant, of course!)

Our HR Director, Lor Pugh, as Minni Mouse

My co-worker, Ginni, is "thinkin' Arby's"

Tim Nielson, Shannon Wilkie, and Matt Tall as "soldier," "Wicked Witch" and "John McCain"

Ember Davis as Rainbow Bright!

My friends, Judd and Chris as track stars--actually, Chris is Richard Simmons :) He dressed up as Brad (for me) later, so we could be "Brangelina!"
Chad and Carl--Chad is an Egyptian (I told him I could have TOTALLY done his makeup!! BC he didn't have any on) and Carl as a Sturgis biker--very typical Carl, so fun!

And the moment you've all been waiting for........

"BRANGELINA."

Yes, I know we TOTALLY look like them--we look like MOVIE STARS. You don't have to tell me. :) I put lip plumper on.
