The Little Swimmer.

This is just TOO cute. Usually I put her in her little tub and then in the big tub... but this time I just put a couple of inches of water in, and she was fearless! She loved it! It was hilarious...like she was making snow angels in the water she was wiggling so much. Anyway, enjoy :)

Ode to Frogurt

MMmmmmmm I really love this new frozen yogurt place at the Draper Peaks shopping area... "Frogurt." It has Dryers Frozen Yogurt, (which means it tastes more creamy, like ice cream--not that pathetic frozen yogurt that's halfway melted into a puddle of milk by the time you walk outside!!) and when you walk in, there is wall full of frozen yogurt machines--you help yourself! Then they have a "salad bar" type set up with toppings galore. You pay 35 cents an ounce and it carries the best sugar-free, fat-free vanilla around!! Plus it has this great atmosphere--leather sofas & coffee tables...a really cool place to hang out with your girlfriends. LOVE it. (Ok, promise I'm not the spokesperson for Frogurt...but don't you think they should pay me for the free advertising?)

So, I've started counting my calories, and so far it has been the easiest "diet" I've ever been on!! WHY did I not think of calorie-counting before??? Maybe becuase I try to steer away from MATH & COUNTING as much as possible. But, omigosh, and I ate so much--seriously...4 days on this thing, and I've already lost a pound. And what makes it easier? 80 calories a serving at Frogurt. :)

The Little Talker.

Pretty sure there is no way she'll be a "late talker..."

Easter with the Gollahers

So I didn't take hardly any pictures--just this. Pathetic, I know... sorry. We had a WONDERFUL dinner with Mainha & Painho, and the Colemans and Barnums. It was really fun to see everyone and have some yummy scalloped potatoes, rolls, spiral ham and Heather's amazing carrot cake! Ok, I can tell that I'm hungry as I write this...

Claire is now known (according to my parents and Heather) as the one who always wears bows, flowers, and headbands... I guess that's okay... I'm training her, so she doesn't pull them out later on! I finished this bow before church that day--had to have SOMETHING to go with the cute dress! And for Easter, of course!

We topped the day off with Claire talking to my parents. It was so cute. Next post I will have a video her talking...very fun.

Easter with the Taylors

Easter SATURDAY was with Jordan's family. We had a lot of fun eating good food (these amazing marinated shish kabobs and pina colada cake) and hunting for eggs. Each year, the Taylors have an Easter egg hunt for the kids (jelly beans, chocolate), but then one for the adults (jelly beans, chocolate, DOLLAR BILLS) :) This year was a bit of a lean year for Jordan and me, in the hunt.... we made out with a whole....DOLLAR :) In previous years, it's been more like $45! But hey, we are a dollar richer! (until I go to the vending machine, that is...)
OK another picture of us trying to get everyone in and smiling... This is Jordan's sister, Jessica with Ava, Samuel, and Claire

This one turned out a little better--a little easier!

Ava's sister, Lexi, with Claire

Claire with Jordan's cousin, Julie

Jordan and Ava--very cute, I must say!

Lenore, Jordan's sister, Katie, his cousin Kiersten, and Jordan's Dad with a jello jiggler coming out of his mouth. Nice, Dan. Nice....

Jordan with his longtime friend from High School, Josh

Me decorating Easter eggs!!

Jordan and I got an Easter basket, and this is what I did with the glow sticks we got.... (we also got play doh and a frisbee...we live in Never Never Land on Easter with the Taylors!)

Discovery Gateway!

Last week, Claire and I joined my mother-in-law, Lenore, and the other grandkids (Jenn and her kids), Lexi, Spencer, Ava, and the newborn, Samuel, AND, Jordan's aunt Vicki and her grandkids, Shelby and Kaylee...anyway, it was a full house :) Here are some pics.

Getting everyone ON the horse and looking at the camera was quite a feat. Claire also looks posessed... oh well!
They have a full-on Life-flight helicopter!!

Cute little Samuel...slept the whole time...

And so did Claire...

My gorgeous mother-in-law and niece!!

Another one of Ava...so cute!

3 Months Old!

Why I like this age:

1. Fussiness is SO much less!
2. She smiles all the time!
3. Starting to laugh!
4. big enough that I don't feel like I'll "break her" anymore.
5. Much more alert/responsive
6. Sleeps a lot longer! (except the past few days...growth spurt I guess...)
7. Has finally started to fit into her 0-3 month clothing :)
