BUBBLES!!

Yep, that's Claire's new favorite thing and favorite word!!

"Bubbles" refers to a few things, actually:

1. The bubbles Daddy makes out of the little machine he got for her`
2. Washing hands, or "making bubbles"
3. The bubbles in the tub when she takes a bath!

New Shades!

Grandma Lenore said it had been a while since she'd spoiled our little munchkin. So, we went to the mall the other day. Claire came out STYLIN' in some new shades!! Grandma is a lot nicer than I am. I've kinda wanted to get her some sunglasses but figured she wouldn't keep them on her face!


I was quite mistaken. She LOVES them, and wears them constantly, even asking to put them on when leaving the house. Hopefully this sticks!!

We just love Grandma!!

First Haircut

It's been a few weeks since, but had to blog this momentous occasion where Jordan and I cut off Claire's little mullet :)

We gave her a cheese stick and a slideshow of family pictures (mostly of herself) to keep her entertained. It worked "OK..." Jordan still had to cut her hair a little shorter than planned if you know what I mean!

See that intense look on his face??? It was a frustrating ordeal to be honest :) I cut her bangs after this, which was a lot easier! Thanks honey!! You are the best hair-cutter ever! (after me, who cuts your hair like a PRO! :)

It's a.........

Yep! Claire is going to have a little sister! We're very very excited :)

Here are the ultrasound pictures...pretty fuzzy on the face this time, unfortunately (I think IMC's ultrasound machines were better or something bc Claire's was much clearer) but there are some cute ones of the feet, legs, and arms.

In the profile pic above, she is facing up, but it's really fuzzy--crown of the head is to the right of the image with face tilted back (does that make sense?)

I think the foot picture is my favorite. But, hopefully, esp. when it comes to the face--hope this isn't a good representation of what she'll really come out looking like :) I think she'll be 100 times cuter!

Happy Mother's Day to me :)

Jordan took these pictures of Claire and Mommy yesterday (we only had like 10 minutes...it was kinda cold) and then I Photoshopped. We're a team :) I can't believe it--we only had to delete like 1 picture..they all turned out cute--I think bc Claire had Daddy behind the camera making her laugh! I think we'll make Mommy/children photos a yearly Mother's Day tradition.

Potty Love

Claire has no concept of what she is supposed to do on the potty. But she sure does love it! She got mad at me today for changing her poopy diaper. I said, "what, you want to go on the potty?" And she said "potty" and so I quickly cleaned her little bum and sat her down on the potty (on her pretty princess potty seat Gma. Taylor got her a while back--early, eh?). Tears turned to smiles as she sat on the throne. So happy. Too bad she has no idea what to actually DO on the potty. But once she does know what to do, I'm training!!

ps. this isn't the first time she's wanted to sit on the potty...just the first time I've gotten a picture :)
