I thought I was dead too. I think this has been the longest break from blogging I've EVER taken! But who wants to blog, take pictures, reminisce, when they're puking their guts out every day? BUT, now I'm just about over that phase, and feeling MUCH better. Yay!!
I feel badly I haven't blogged about Claire because she's growing and changing by the SECOND!! AH! Here are some funny and cute things she has been doing and saying...

Beware of bringing a big gulp into the house when you expect to keep it to yourself. Claire thinks they're ALL her's. She will take it.
Like many children, Claire thoroughly enjoys MSG...I mean, Ramen Noodles :)
We're awesome parents, I know...

Claire's new favorite food is "CREAM." Jordan's Dad started this mess by spraying whipped cream into her mouth. She is JUST like her mommy because she LOVED it. Now "cream" is one of her favorite new words..."

K, blurry picture, but it's just funny. Claire TOTALLY loves playing with my bras. So Jordan tied one of my bras onto her. She loved it and walked around proud. Haha..I know, these are boy PJ's...

A few months ago, mommy was dumb enough to think that a nice potted plant would be a good idea in the living room. After picking soil and rock out of this one's mouth for the 200th time, she decided that maybe it WASN'T such a good idea. PLUS, the plant was dying, go figure :) Took it back, but we still have this cute planter from IKEA. It is one of Claire's favorite toys. She gets stuck in it daily though...

While I was in the depths of sickliness, Jordan spent a lot of time playing with Claire. One day, he decided to build her a "little house" (it took up a large chunk of the living room actually). She LOVED it. Jordan said it only took 45 minutes to put together. A couple of weeks later, when she was already bored with it, as kids get, we took it down and threw it out. Sorry, environmentalists everywhere....we don't have recycling here. But, I have to say, the best part about this, is, that if we would've bought one of those plastic houses, once Claire was done playing with it, lost interest, etc.... you can't throw it out :)

Nope, it's not what you think. Unfortunately, my baby girl's ears are STILL not pierced and now probably won't be until she's like...well who knows. Jordan has always been against the baby piercing, so... but one day, she put little magnets on her ears, one in the front and one on the back of the lobe. They were like little earrings! So cute! But then one of them fell out when Claire got too close to another magnet. We have a lot of magnets around this house.
OK, more to come shortly.

Was searching for a GF's blog and came across your. Was reading your post wanting to have your dd's ears pierced, but dh was uncertain.
Like you, I wanted our dd's ears pierced too after seeing all these cute babies and little girls with sweet little earrings.
Dh said if I could come up with ten good reasons to have her ears pierced as an infant/toddler, he'd agree. I did my research and found 13 reasons. He finally gave in and I took our dd, Sandi, to have her hers pierced he next day before he changed his mind.
If you need some help convincing dh to let you have her ears pierced, write me an e-mail and will send them to you.
