Am I crazy?
So, recently, Jordan has decided to call me by.........my......REAL NAME! Definitely not ALL THE TIME, but sometimes, and I hate it!!! He's not allowed to call me Janessa or I just know he is mad at me!!!
So I made up some rules...
Honey, you can only call me by my real name in the following circumstances:
1. If we're in a crowded area and there are lots of husbands and wives around, and ONLY after you have at least called after me with "Honey!" once. I can recognize your voice you know...
2. If you are referring to me in conversation with a third party.
Ummm...there would be more rules, but there aren't any other instances in which he is allowed to call me anything but a pet name. Period.

that's funny because my husband NEVER calls me by my name. he doesn't even really have any "pet" names for me either, he just says "hey, will you do this" so when i hear Amanda, i too think i'm in trouble.
yeah, my honey better only call me honey, sugar, dear, sweetheart or something of the like.
okay so does a marriage have problems if we call each other by our first names a lot? I think that is better than calling each other dad or mom...right? That is really funny though! Love the Calvin and Hobbes strip, I always think of you when I see C & H.
HAHA!! I feel the same way!! It's weird to hear Jon refer to me as "Juliann".
