The Good News

Well, if it were up to Jordan, I wouldn't announce this for at least another 6 months, but we have made a compromise (after I did whatever the heck I wanted..which he wasn't too happy about, but...) and I think I'm okay to tell now. Especially now that I have taken 3 tests... (two of which are included as mementos in this post)

I'm 8 weeks pregnant. It has been great to get pregnant, but now I just feel tired and sick all the time. I also can't seem to suck in my stomach anymore, because I'm so full of water and air, I think, and I'm pretty sure I'm getting fat--at least I think, since I can see myself growing an extra chin, but I won't get on the scale) I heard that feeling pukey all the time will pass in a few weeks though. I hope so! Jordan also won't discuss names for a while...since he didn't want to until I'm 8 months along, we have compromised, and we can discuss at 4 months along. I already have a spreadsheet with girl and boy names I like, hehe :)

I definitely feel very blessed to have gotten pregnant so easily. We have really only been trying since December. I have friends and family members that have not been able to get pregnant after trying for years. So, I am very grateful. Jordan and I are very excited...at this point, I think the due date is in the beginning of January--however, I'm hoping that the baby comes early, since I could really use the tax break!

I was wondering why I hadn't seem a post on your exciting news! HOW ARE YOU FEELING? I think about you and how sick you must be a lot. Those were probably the darkest days...being that sick. Yuck. So I've been looking at the company you work for and they're pretty huge huh! Do you enjoy it there? is it Ibahn or iBahn?

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO exciting! I'm glad you posted about it finally :) Hope your feeling ok. You should probably only post the good and wonderful things about pregnancy so you don't scare me out of having children :)

(I'm well aware that I have a smiley face problem... I can't help it!)

Yes, Ariel, I also have a smiley face problem...even in work emails--it's scary!!! :) :) :) Lately been feeling better--maybe I should post, because, let's be honest, I'm getting fat--maybe I should post a picture of how I can't suck in anymore... weird!! I thought I wouldn't show for a while!! Guess everyone's different!

Kathryn,

I am feeling a bit better lately--not aaaas sick... haven't thrown up yet, so I feel pretty lucky!! The company I work for is pretty good--definite ups and downs though! I'm going to our big trade show in Austin in June (2 weeks!) for a week so once that's over, I'm home free...been pretty busy with that!!
