Like I may have mentioned before, my husband is a very meticulous soul... when he was doing tech support, he found a nice little way to distract himself while talking to people with "ID-TEN-T" errors (ID10T)such as failing to turn the machine on, for example...
Here is what he made:
So, I thought maybe I could use them as Christmas ornaments or something? They're way too cool to throw out. Maybe douse them in glitter? Spray paint them? Or leave them white and put them on the tree? I don't think they store well. Fortunately since he likes his job now, and he actually has to do something other than sit on his butt, he doesn't make them anymore--thus, the problem of storage will not get bigger...pheew!!!
Ok, I HAVE to do my gospel doctrine lesson now... yes, I know, it's the day before...

Hey Newie, it's Phil. So I have a funny story to tell you about the whole ID-Ten-T deal. When I was working at Target, my fellow co-worker got me with this same thing. He asked if I had filled out the ID10T form. When I told him I hadn't, he told me that I better go and tell the HR guy. Well, I did and the guy played it off like nothing. To make a long story short, I soon found out what ID10T meant, so I actually made an ID10T form up for Target. I'll have to show you guys sometime because it's hilarious.

wow.... and i though i was bored at work. i would never have enough patience to do that!
Yeah, totally, me neither! He's very patient (although, doesn't seem to have that much patience with ME :)
Filly, that's so funny! I didn't know what the ID10T thing was either until Jordan told me. There was actually another acronym they used, something like: PEBCAK (problem exists between chair and keyboard)So funny... They had some real dummies calling in, and these were for the $8,000 computers!! Crazy.
