So, I was thinking for weeks and weeks that David Archuleta was going to win... all because I kept hearing about those 12 year old "supervoters" that would vote for David A about 450 times a night. And the people who liked David Cook were more people my age who would either not vote at all, or only vote a few times a night! But looks like I was mistaken!
I honestly couldn't care less..they're both winners. So, Jordan and I (he doesn't watch it at all, so it was really my party...that forced him to watch American Idol for the first time this season) had a party with my coworkers to celebrate the finale. It was really fun, and even Jordan's Dad came! Unfortunately, by the time I got the camera out, I didn't have many takers for pictures! But here's one I did get:

Yeah, I TOTALLY watch SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE--I almost like it better, maybe I even like it better than American Idol to be honest....LOVEEEEE IIITITTTTT!!!
I must admit, I have been a Cook fan from day 1 (sorry Ariel!) so I was SO happy that he won!! Archuletta is amazing, too - just in a different way. Glad you had a party. I think I should do that next year - or...maybe we should have a party with each other!
Janessa I think I'm going to try out for a choir in Provo-they are called the Utah Baroque Ensemble. They are awesome and Cameron actually recommended them. You should look into it. I think that you and Kristen, Juliann, Ariel, and pretty much whoever else should go to dinner one of these thursdays. Just like old times. Please post pictures of your growing tummy!!!!
Totally Kathryn! We should definitely. Well hopefully we'll have that BBQ soon and we can plan! I'm definitely going to post a pic of my belly, but I think I had a double chin in it and I might have to do some photoshop-ing, hehehe
So my friend Brooke White was my first pick since she is my buddy, I think she did awesome but stayed as long as I thought she should have, but when it came down to David A. & David C. I have to say I was cheering for "C" in fact being in UT I at the time of the finals I had to go all out to support cook since everyone else was voting "A" So I wrote COOK on my knuckles and cheered him on thinking he really wasn't going to win although he was my first pick. When he actually did win I just laughed cuz I knew it was so unexpected for everyone and that they were gonna just fall apart and they did on the news which made it even funnier. Oh well he has it better being second anyway. He will still make it big and everyone still loves David "A" but I'm glad COOK won I think he has star quality. Wow what a novel.
